Julie has a degree in Early Childhood Education, a graduate certificate in Special Education and is a trained Multisensory Structured Language (MSL) educator. For most of her teaching career she has been in the roles of Student Support Co-ordinator and Literacy teacher. These roles have given her experience in assessing, planning and teaching to meet the educational needs of all students and best educational practice for neurodiverse students. She communicates effectively, sensitively and respectfully enabling her to build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers and allied professionals. She is continually learning to build upon her skills and knowledge of how students learn to implement in her teaching and support students reach their learning potential.
