Psychological assessments

At Into Minds we provide a range of psychological assessment and diagnostic services. A psychological assessment can evaluate thinking, learning and behaviour and assist in identifying ways to support learning and development. An assessment can be used to assist in planning school programs, to identify needs for special services, and to help access resources in the community. A psychological assessment can help identify:
  • Cognitive, academic and executive functioning strengths and weaknesses.
  • Individual abilities, competencies, and strategies to support building capacity and positive functioning.
  • Behavioural, social and/or emotional regulation concerns and competencies.
  • The presentation of a learning and/or neurodevelopmental disorder (e.g. Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder).
